How to use a whipped soap

What is Whipped Soap?

Whipped soap is a creamy, fluffy alternative to traditional bar and liquid soaps. Whipped to perfection, it boasts a mousse-like texture that's incredibly soft and spreadable. It combines the best of both worlds: the cleansing power of soap and the moisturising benefits of body butter.

Benefits of Whipped Soap

  1. Luxurious Texture: Its light, airy consistency feels delightful on your skin, turning an ordinary shower into a spa-like experience.
  2. Gentle Cleansing: Formulated with gentle, skin-friendly ingredients, it cleanses without stripping natural oils, making it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
  3. Hydration: Infused with nourishing oils and butters, it leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturised.
  4. Versatility: Can be used as a body wash, shaving cream, hand wash and shampoo, providing multiple benefits in one product.
  5. Aromatic Experience: Opt for one of our fragranced whipped soaps and it’ll leave a subtle, lingering scent on your skin, enhancing your mood and senses.

How to Use Whipped Soap: A Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Preparation: Start with clean, wet skin. Whipped soap works best in the shower or bath.
  2. Scoop a Small Amount: A little goes a long way. Use your fingers or a small scoop to take out a dollop of whipped soap from the container.
  3. Lather Up: Apply the soap directly to your skin or onto a loofah or washcloth. As you rub it in circular motions, watch it transform into a rich, creamy lather.
  4. Cleanse: Massage the lather all over your body. Enjoy the luxurious feel and the aromatic scent as it gently cleanses your skin.
  5. Shave (Optional): If you're using it for shaving, apply a thicker layer to the area. The whipped texture provides a smooth, protective barrier, ensuring a close, comfortable shave.
  6. Rinse Thoroughly: Wash off the lather with warm water, ensuring no residue is left behind. Your skin should feel soft and refreshed.
  7. Dry and Moisturise: Pat your skin dry with a towel. Follow up with one of our luxurious body butters.

ALL of our products are made with gentle ingredients and are made for customers with sensitive skin!

In terms of soap bars, most commercial 'soaps' are usually detergents which can dry out and irritate your skin. Our soaps are handmade from scratch with my own formulated recipe. We use the cold process method. The oils selected will moisturise and nourish your skin all you have to do is pick your scent.

We have so many customers with eczema and psoriasis who use our products daily, a lot have even said it's helped to calm down their skin.

I always recommend checking the ingredients before buying and if it's your first time ordering and you're not sure if it's worth the hype: try our Naked Collection; these products are colour and fragrance free.

Give them a go and if you love it you can come back and try other colours and fragrances if you fancy.

For our soap bars we recommend using them within 6 months as the scents and colours will fade slowly over time.

None of our products have expiry dates and will generally last a few years unopened but we do have to advise that all of our products be used within 6 months of opening as long as they are stored in their recommended conditions.

Our salt soaps contain a lot of salt, this makes them last a really long time.

Our normal soaps don't last quite so long but they're incredibly moisturising.

I recommend using the normal soaps as a gentle hand wash and a salt soap as a body wash.

Both can be used as either hand wash or body wash but this is just what I suggest to make your bars last as long as possible.
